CFFG’s website for children

www.cornwallfoodandfarming.net is all about farming in Cornwall and how the food it produces arrives on your plate. With loads of photos, games, recipes and sound effects as well, the website is an informative and fun way for primary school aged children to get a better understanding of agriculture and food production in Cornwall. As well as information on what is happening on the farm and what produce is in season, there is a list of farms to visit, background stories about iconic Cornish foods and a monthly archive of things to look out for.

The website construction has been paid for by funds raised by CFFG members and with sponsorship from the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association and other members of the agricultural community.

Working with professional advice from teachers, CFFG have drawn on the expertise and experience of its members in farming, food production and food preparation to produce a resource which they hope children, teachers and families will find useful and enjoy using.
